Add your menu
A complete menu is the single biggest driver of orders. Aim for at least 10 items with photos before going live.
1. Create categories first
From the dashboard go to Menu → Categories. Add Starters, Mains, Drinks, Desserts (or whatever fits your restaurant).
Categories control how items appear to customers when they scan a QR code. Drag to reorder.
2. Add menu items
Menu → Add item. At minimum: name, price, category. Optional but recommended: photo, prep time, dietary tags (veg, halal).
Upload one square photo per item — 800×800 px works best. We automatically compress and resize for mobile.
3. Customizations
For items with options (spice level, add-ons), use Customization Groups. Customers see them as a clean radio/checkbox list when ordering.
4. Hide vs delete
Use 'Available' to temporarily hide an item (e.g. sold out). Use Delete only for items you'll never sell again — historical orders are preserved.
